Job summary

Novant Health is hiring a CNA I for the Progressive Care Unit on a full-time Day shift. You will provide and document assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.

We offer relocation assistance up to $7,500 and a supportive team focused on high-quality care and patient safety. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, NA I registry listing, and experience in long-term or assisted living facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience preferred.
• Listed with the NA I nurse aide registry required.
• Medication Safety - AME required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.
• Support patient comfort and safety, reporting changes to the RN.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

• Experience:

  • One year preferred.

  • One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.

• Licensure/Certification:

  • Completion of NAI program, required.

  • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.

  • Medication Safety - AME, required.

  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
