Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our patient-first care team in Wilmington, NC. The role supports daily living activities, monitors patient condition, and collaborates with nurses to ensure safety and comfort on 12-hour day or night shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of an NA I program, and BLS certification; one year of CNA experience is preferred. Excellent documentation skills and a patient-centered mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• NA I registration with the nurse aide registry; BLS required and Medication Safety AME.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support patient mobility, comfort, and safety
• Measure and record vital signs as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to provide outstanding patient care
