Job summary

Washington Soldiers Home, part of the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking a Nursing Assistant Certified on a full-time, non-permanent day shift. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health data, and assist licensed staff in delivering high-quality care to veterans.

This role requires current NAC licensure in Washington and OBRA certification, with a 6-month health-care or direct patient care background preferred.

Qualifications

• Current valid Washington State license to practice as a Nursing Assistant Certified.
• Current active OBRA certification.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the resident care plan to improve life and safety.
• Record vital signs and notes in electronic medical records daily.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Monitor equipment and report issues to maintenance or nursing staff.
