Job summary

Walla Walla Veterans Home is accepting applications for a Part-Time, Swing Shift, Nursing Assistant Certified. The role supports skilled nursing care in a homelike setting for veterans, with duties including daily living support, care plan participation, and basic therapies under a licensed RN.

The position requires a valid WA CNA license and OBRA Registry status; English proficiency is essential. Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Friday through Sunday, with no telework option.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Washington CNA license.
• Active OBRA Registry status required.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Driver's license preferred for transport or errands.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and nursing-related care.
• Participate in resident care plans and document vital signs.
• Support residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating and mobility.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under RN supervision.
• Maintain clean, sanitary living spaces and supplies.
• Lead or assist with therapeutic recreational activities.
