Job summary

Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville, WI is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Medical/Surgical Unit. The position is 0.7 FTE, day shift, with weekend and holiday rotations, and involves vital signs, ADL assistance, and close collaboration with RNs.

Candidates must hold a Wisconsin Nursing Assistant certification, active in state and federal registries; BLS/ CPR as required. Prior CNA experience preferred but not required; strong communication and EMR knowledge are

Qualifications

• Requires a Nursing Assistant certification and to be listed as active on both the State of Wisconsin and Federal Registries
• CPR completion preferred—will need to be obtained upon hire
• Current BLS certification or obtains within 3 months of hire
• Prior nursing assistant experiences are preferred but not required
• Outstanding verbal and written communications, knowledge of medical terminology beneficial
• Prior electronic medical record knowledge is beneficial

Role & Department: Certified Nursing Assistant in the Medical/Surgical Unit

Hours & Shift: Part-time .7 FTE Day shift position, will work a weekend and a holiday rotation

Role Responsibilities

• Collect routine vital signs and provide general nursing assistant services
• Will provide assistance in activities of daily living which includes: personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility/ambulation, maintenance of environment and patient safety
• Will work under the direction of the RN in charge
• May be asked to provide unit clerk coverage for the unit
