Westminster Communities of Florida in Lakeland is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care procedures and supervisor directions. You will preserve residents’ dignity, honor rights, deliver great customer service, and comply with federal and state regulations.
The role requires CPR certification, Florida CNA license, and at least one year of long-term care experience.
Qualifications
- Must be a Florida Certified Nursing Assistant and CPR certified.
- One year of long-term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
Responsabilités
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting).
- Ensure beds are made and hygiene is maintained in rooms.
- Assist with meals and feeding as necessary.
- Take vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
- Follow infection prevention and control measures per regulations.
- Document promptly in care flow sheets.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure safety equipment is in place.
- Provide timely incontinent care and reposition residents as needed.
