Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under nurse supervision. You will perform rounds, assist with daily activities and ensure safety and comfort for residents in a supportive environment.

Requirements include a valid CNA license, at least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical exposure, and strong English communication. Candidates should be health-conscious, patient, and capable of working well with staff, residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to work tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must be patient, cheerful and able to handle residents with varying maturity.
• Good general health and emotional stability.
• Able to relate to ill, elderly residents in a facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under policies and safety rules to ensure quality resident care.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within residents' reach.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
