Job summary

Encore Parkside in Delaware is seeking weekend CNAs to provide compassionate care and support to residents. CNAs are essential team members, helping with daily activities and ensuring comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, maintaining a clean environment, communicating changes to the nurse, documenting care, and upholding residents' rights to privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Delaware CNA certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and physical support for residents, assisting with ADLs and mobility.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, and activities of daily living.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for residents.
• Notify nurse of changes in residents' condition promptly.
• Complete CNA documentation including notes, meals, fluids, and ADLs.
• Communicate with residents, families and coworkers in a pleasant, professional manner.
• Respect residents' rights to privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual

  to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents

• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.

• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.

• Accountable for completion of CNA documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADL's.

• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.

• Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current State of Delaware CNA Certificate

• Current CPR Card
