Job summary

Encore Village at Wilmington is hiring CNAs for full-time and part-time roles. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.50 per hour with PTO, health benefits and a 401(k) for full-time staff. The new chapter emphasizes a positive, supportive workplace and compassionate resident care.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, bathing, grooming, documenting progress, and communicating changes to the nurse. Delaware CNA certification and CPR card are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Delaware CNA certificate.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Accountable for completion of CNA documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADLs.
• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.
• Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current State of Delaware C.N.A. Certificate
• Current CPR Card
