Job summary

Encore Village at Wilmington is seeking compassionate CNAs for full-time and part-time roles in our skilled care area. The pay range is $19.00–$22.50 per hour with PTO, health benefits, and a 401K plan for full-time CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and physical support to residents to maximize independence.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to the nurse immediately.
• Perform tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Complete CNA documentation (progress notes, meals/fluids, bowel sheet, ADLs).
• Communicate with residents, families and coworkers in a positive manner.
• Respect residents' privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents

• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.

• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.

• Accountable for completion of CNA documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADLs.

• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.

• Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current State of Delaware C.N.A. Certificate

• Current CPR Card
