Job summary

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Bardwell, KY is seeking a Weekend Warrior CNA to join our compassionate team. This role focuses on resident comfort, dignity, and daily care, with premium pay for weekend shifts and structured weekend hours.

The Weekend Warrior program offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for tuition reimbursement, shift differentials, and daily wage access. Previous long-term care CNA experience is preferred, with a state CNA certification required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs: bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with lifting/moving residents.
• Report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers and supervisors.
• Assist nurses with duties as directed.

CNA's are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.

• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA

• Must be able to pass a Drug Screening
