Job summary

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Bardwell, KY is seeking a Weekend Warrior CNA to provide compassionate daily care to residents on Saturdays and Sundays. The role includes premium pay for weekend shifts, day schedule, and a supportive, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, recording vital signs, and communicating changes to supervising nurses. A CNA program graduate with active certification and a drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• One+ year CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide program.
• Current state CNA certification required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs: bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulation.
• Record vital signs and assist with lifting and transferring residents.
• Report changes in resident condition to a nurse promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Support nursing staff by performing assigned tasks.

CNA's are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screening
