Job summary

Otterbein is seeking skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/STNA) in Ohio to join a compassionate care team. You will support residents with daily activities, document care, and promote independence in a community-focused setting.

Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with experience-based increases and shift differentials. We offer full-time, part-time and PRN roles across 1st–3rd shifts with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA required in Ohio.
• Must pass state test and be listed on Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents needing help with bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a range of support services under nurse supervision.
• Help residents stay as independent as possible in daily life.
• Provide accurate and timely care documentation.
• Plan and prepare meals and eat with residents.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Pay

Starting from $17.00 increases with experience plus Shift Differential for 2nd shift $3.00 and 3rd shift $1.50

Responsibilities

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Perform other duties as need arises and/or assigned

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
