Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/STNA) who value compassionate, person-centered care. At Otterbein you are a partner in caring, sharing in a mission to honor residents’ choices and support independence across our Sunset House locations. Shifts available: Full-Time 2nd and Part-Time 1st.

Responsibilities

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
