Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in New Albany, Ohio is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) for FT, PT or PRN positions. You will provide compassionate daily care, assist residents with bathing, meals, mobility, and hygiene under supervision of a nurse.

We offer daily pay options, flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd and PRN), starting pay of $17.00 per hour with shift differentials of $3.00 for 2nd shift and $1.50 for 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Ohio CNA/STNA certification required; must be listed on Nurse Aide Registry.
• Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move residents.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents who need assistance with bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Plan and cook residents' favorite foods and share meals with them.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Job Types: Full Time, Part Time and PRN

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
