Job summary

Otterbein Cridersville is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide compassionate resident care under a nurse’s supervision in our Ohio community. The role emphasizes person-centered care, documentation, and maintaining residents’ independence.

Starting pay is $18.50 with shift differentials of $3.00 for 2nd shift and $1.50 for 3rd shift. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio or Test Ready. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.
