Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA to support residents with compassionate, person-centered care. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, safety, and promoting independence, with multiple shifts available across full-time and part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Available Shifts:All shifts available

Pay:Starting from $18.50 increases with experience

Shift Differential:$3.00/hour 2nd shift and $1.50/hour 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
• Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
• Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
• Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
• Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.However, see below for our offer of on-the-job assistance in getting this certification!
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents
