Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN/night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) in Florence, SC. You will support patients with bathing, feeding, oral hygiene, and mobility, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant or certification.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Perform hourly rounds to monitor patient needs and safety.
• Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment such as bedpans and wheelchairs.
• Assist with stock levels and general unit cleanliness.

PRN/Per Diem, 12-hour shifts - Nights - 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.

Compensation:

$20.00 per hour

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
