Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate in Anderson, SC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time day shift, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The role offers $18.00 to $21.94 per hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

The CNA will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, perform hourly rounds, help move patients as needed, and keep rooms and equipment clean and well-stocked while supporting a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist with movement on stretchers/wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
