Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate in Anderson, SC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time Nights (7 p.m.–7 a.m.). Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $21.94 per hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years in a related field may substitute.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as CNA or related field (e.g., medical assistant) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient bathing, hygiene and basic care using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, and feeding.
• Perform hourly rounds to monitor patient needs and safety.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist transporters with moving patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs) and keep patient rooms tidy.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
