Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence in Florence, SC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN/Per Diem day shifts. Compensation is $20.00 per hour. The CNA will provide compassionate, high-quality care to chronically ill post-ICU patients in a critical illness recovery hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years related work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products and providing oral hygiene.
• Assist with oral feeding and care of hair.
• Perform hourly rounds and transport patients to treatment centers as needed.
• Move patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs with transporters.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and other instruments/equipment.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
