Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence in Florence, SC invites a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our inpatient post-ICU care team on a PRN/Per Diem 12-hour day schedule. You will play a central role in delivering compassionate patient care alongside a seasoned team.

We offer $20.00 per hour, a comprehensive orientation, and opportunities for advancement. Part-time/per diem status may qualify for 401k after 1,000 hours in the first anniversary year, with a focus on well-being and professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as nursing assistant or CNA certification.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral care and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients and assist with moving them.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment.
• Keep inventory and unit supplies stocked.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
