Job summary

The Gardens at Orangeville in Orangeville, PA is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility on a PRN basis. The CNA will coordinate care delivery, monitor outcomes, and provide direct nursing care under the direction of the Charge Nurse, within an interdisciplinary team. Pay rate is $23.00 per hour.

PRN shifts may offer flexible scheduling. Qualifications include active CNA certification and completing a state-approved training program with required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must hold active CNA certification.
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and exam.
• Provide certification documentation upon application.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care as outlined in the care plan.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.
• Monitors residents for changes in condition and communicates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Delivers care in a safe, respectful, and patient-centered manner.
• Supports residents to be out of bed and engaged per the care plan.
• Collaborates with nursing staff to ensure resident safety and well-being.

The Gardens at Orangeville is seeking CNA's to join our skilled nursing facility in Orangeville, PA.

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for coordinating the delivery of care, monitoring and evaluating the outcome of practice and standards of care, and providing direct nursing care in a self-directed manner.

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

CNA Job Details / Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neurological and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs, as applicable
• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of residents are maintained
• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as an active member of the interdisciplinary team
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming in accordance with the established Care Plan
• Ensures residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner
• Performs additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan

CNA Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
• Must have successfully completed a state-approved training program and required examination
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application
