Job summary

The Gardens at Millville in Millville, PA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team on a PRN basis. The position offers pay of $23.00 per hour and the opportunity to provide compassionate resident care.

As a CNA, you will assist with activities of daily living, follow care plans, and work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Must have completed a state-approved CNA training program and required examination.
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents with therapeutic, neurological, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, wounds as applicable.
• Provide nursing care per Care Plans and ensure safety and well-being of residents.
• Work under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per Care Plan.
• Ensure residents are out of bed per Care Plan.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a supportive, non-judgmental manner.
• Perform additional duties to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Job Details / Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neurological, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs, as applicable

• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of residents

• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and participates as an active member of the interdisciplinary team

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming in accordance with the established Care Plan

• Ensures residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan

• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner

• Performs additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan

CNA Qualifications
