Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Greensboro, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN night shifts on the 5th floor at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Compensation is $24.00 per hour and orientation is provided.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, hourly rounding, and safe transport of patients with access to potential advancement opportunities. Perks include benefits and 401k eligibility after 1,000 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
