Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shifts in Florence, SC. You will provide compassionate patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and support the clinical team in a post-ICU setting.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral care, feeding, and hygiene.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist staff as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment.
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Certification as a nursing assistant
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
