Job summary

Select Specialty Daytona Beach is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Daytona Beach, FL. This PRN/Per Diem role offers 12-hour shifts and a $21.00/hour compensation with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
