Job summary

Select Medical Rehabilitation - Madison is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Per Diem / PRN Day Shift at the housed inside Select Specialty Hospital - Madison. Hours are 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.; compensation is $24.00 per hour.

The role includes providing patient care in an acute rehabilitation unit, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus and potential for advancement. Part-time per diem schedule; 401k eligibility after hours targets and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment is required.
• Must have active CNA license in the state of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming).
• Deliver meals and snacks and document oral intake including supplements.
• Turn and position immobile patients and participate in mobility programs.
• Respond to patient call lights and support patient physical well-being.
• Transport patients to designated areas and treatment centers.

• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience
