Select Specialty Hospital - Madiosn in Madison, WI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time day shifts (7:00am–7:00pm). Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $27.00 per hour based on experience, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less products and assisting with oral hygiene.
• Assist with oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist movers with stretchers/wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs and other instruments.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly and stock supplies as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)


• BLS is required within 90 days of hire


• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
