Job summary

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab in St George, UT is hiring CNAs for a part-time weekend night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM. Join a supportive team caring for residents who need 24/7 assistance, with opportunities to grow and learn in a nurturing environment.

On-the-job training is provided; certification costs are covered if not yet certified, and CNAs may qualify for nursing tuition reimbursement. Excellent communication with residents and coworkers is essential.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment.
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
• Provide physical support to assist residents in daily living activities.
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable

Hours:

This is a part time position, we are currently hiring for the Weekend Night Shift, 6 PM to 6 AM

Wages and Benefits:

• Competitive Salary
• If you are not yet certified, Red Cliffs Health and Rehab will pay for your nursing assistant certification (valued at over $500)
• CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Job Duties
