Job summary

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab in St George, UT is growing its nursing team and seeking a compassionate CNA to join our skilled nursing facility.

This full-time Day Shift (6 AM–6 PM) offers on-the-job training, certification support, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with company match and health insurance. Join us to provide personal care and build meaningful resident relationships.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in daily living activities
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents

*Skilled nursing facilities provide care for geriatric patients who require 24/7 care

Hours: This is a full time position, we are currently hiring for the Day Shift, 6 AM to 6 PM, 3 days per week.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Requirements

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
