Job summary

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab in St George, UT is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents and collaborate with a dedicated care team on the night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM, three days per week.

On-the-job training is provided; benefits include 401(k) with company match, medical/dental/vision, PTO, and tuition reimbursement of $500 per month toward a nursing program.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in daily living activities (getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising)
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diets
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and build relationships with residents to ensure comfort

Hours: This is a full time position, we are currently hiring for the Night Shift, 6 PM to 6 AM, 3 days per week.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience
