Job summary

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab in St George, UT, is expanding its nursing team and seeks CNAs to join a supportive environment with grateful residents and opportunities to grow. The role is full-time on the day shift, 6 AM to 6 PM, three days per week, with on-the-job training provided.

Current CNA certification preferred; if not certified, the facility will cover certification costs. Includes 401(k) with company match and comprehensive insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or commitment to obtain certification within 120 days.
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn state and federal long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
• Provide physical support to assist residents in daily living activities (getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, bathroom, standing, walking).
• Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to ensure appropriate diets.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and build relationships with residents.

Hours: This is a full time position, we are currently hiring for the Day Shift, 6 AM to 6 PM, 3 days per week.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Requirements

Job Duties

• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
