Job summary

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab in St. George, UT is hiring CNAs for weekend night shifts (6 PM–6 AM) on a part-time basis. On-the-job training is provided with opportunities to grow alongside a supportive team and grateful residents.

In addition to a competitive salary, the facility offers CNA certification reimbursement (valued at over $500) and a $500/month nursing tuition reimbursement toward further studies.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment.
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents while in bed.
• Provide physical support for daily living activities (bed, bathing, eating, dressing, bathroom, mobility).
• Review dietary restrictions, allergies and preferences to ensure appropriate diet.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and build relationships with residents for comfort.

Hours: This is a part time position, we are currently hiring for the Weekend Night Shift, 6 PM to 6 AM

Wages and Benefits

• If you are not yet certified, Red Cliffs Health and Rehab will pay for your nursing assistant certification (valued at over $500)
• CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs

• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
