Job summary

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab in St George, UT is expanding its nursing team and seeking a dedicated CNA for the night shift (6 PM–6 AM, 3 days/week). On-the-job training is provided, with competitive compensation and full benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights to determine resident needs.
• Turn and reposition residents in bed.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bed, bathing, eating, dressing, bathroom, mobility).
• Review dietary restrictions and preferences to ensure appropriate meals.
• Record intake and output as required.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and build rapport with residents.

Hours: This is a full time position, we are currently hiring for the Night Shift, 6 PM to 6 AM, 3 days per week.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
