Select Specialty Hospital - Madison is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our night-shift team in Madison, WI. You will provide compassionate patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support transitions through a robust orientation program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene and feeding
• Assist with hourly rounds
• Transport patients to treatment centers and help move them in/out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs) and keep rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairsKeep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
