Job summary

Morning Pointe Memory Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for 3rd shift to support residents with daily living activities, personal care, and compassionate companionship. You will work closely with the care team to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for seniors.

We value reliability, empathy, and a can-do attitude. Providing respectful care and communicating effectively with residents and staff is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• At least 18 years of age and able to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, laundry, bed making and other duties of care.
• Record temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration, plus intake and output as directed.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks; help with setup and feeding as necessary.
• Housekeeping duties as necessary.

CNA’s are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, CNA's participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a CNA can include:

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perennial care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist in recording temperature, blood pressure, pulse respiration rates, food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
• Housekeeping duties as necessary
