Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant/CNA for Memory Care to support residents on the 2nd shift. You will help with daily living activities and provide compassionate care in a secure, respectful environment that emphasizes dignity and independence.

The role focuses on assisting with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility and daily tasks while promoting residents' wellness and quality of life. Join a team that values kindness, patience and high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Schedule flexibility for second shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL support to residents to meet physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making and other duties of care.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks; help with setup, service and feeding as necessary.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed to maintain a clean living environment.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
