Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene) with dignity.
• Help with meals, feeding support, and setup.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
• Support residents in mobility, safety and social activities.

We Are Looking For

• Someone with a “can do” attitude
• Someone who enjoys caring for others
• Someone with reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to read and write

Resident Assistants/CNAs Are Expected To Accomplish Tasks Outside Of Their Normal Assignments Whenever Necessary To Maintain a Quality Care Environment For Our Residents. As Part Of a Team-oriented Workplace, Resident Assistants Participate In Training Opportunities And Offer Help To Other Areas And Staff In Need. The Typical Work Of a Resident Assistant Can Include

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
• Housekeeping duties as necessary
