Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Orlando Central is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 3 night shifts, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The CNA will provide patient bathing, oral hygiene and feeding support, conduct hourly rounds, and assist with patient transport as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a CNA or certification as CNA or related field experience (e.g. medical assistant, RN student).

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less methods and assisting with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients and assist with moving them in/out of stretchers and wheelchairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
