Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities in Davenport, IA is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate patient care on a full-time schedule with both day and night shifts. The role includes helping with bathing, feeding, rounds, and transport of patients, under supervision and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral care and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds to monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and patient rooms.
• Keep supply levels and equipment stocked as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Nursing Assistant- NA/CNA/ Patient Care Tech

Location: Select Specialty Hospital- Quad Cities

Schedule: Full-time Day & Night Shift Available- 3 12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
