Job summary

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in St. George, UT.

The role is full-time, with a day shift from 6 AM to 6 PM, three days per week, supporting geriatric residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will provide direct resident care, respond to call lights, assist with daily living activities, monitor dietary needs, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal long-term care regulations.
• Ability to provide compassionate, respectful resident care.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents to prevent discomfort and bedsores.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, mobility).
• Review dietary restrictions and preferences to ensure appropriate meals.
• Record intake and output as required by facility policy.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

Hours

This is a full time position, we are currently hiring for the Day Shift, 6 AM to 6 PM, 3 days per week.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Requirements

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment

• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
