Job summary

Mt Olympus Rehab and Nursing in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our close-knit team dedicated to providing residents with the best possible care.

We offer a Nursing Tuition Reimbursement program of up to $500 per month pre-tax, with eligibility after 90 days and minimum part-time/full-time status. Full-time CNAs receive benefits like a 401(k) with company match, health/dental/life/vision insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in good standing (Utah)
• Effective personal communication with residents, families, staff
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted
• Knowledge of medical/nursing practices and procedures
• Understanding of local/state/federal long-term care regulations

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights to determine resident needs
• Turn and reposition residents in bed
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, eating, mobility)
• Review dietary restrictions and preferences for residents
• Record food/liquid intake and output as needed
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff

Job description

Mt Olympus Rehab and Nursing in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)! We are a close-knit group where providing our residents the best care possible is our #1 priority. We strive to improve the lives of our residents and their families, as well as our staff.

We care about our CNAs and want to provide opportunities for them - which is why we have a \"Nursing Tuition Reimbursement\" program, where you can receive up to $500 a month (pre-tax) to go to nursing school. No contract required, but we do require that you work part time or full time, and finish your first 90-days with us to be eligible for this program.

Schedule

Our CNAs are able to enjoy 8-hour shifts! Day shifts are from 6 AM to 2 PM, Swing shifts are from 2 PM to 10 PM, while night shifts are from 10 PM to 6 AM

• Full Time CNAs work 5 days a week
• Part Time CNAs work 2-3 days a week
• PRN CNAs work on a \"as-needed/available\" schedule

Job Description

• Answer residents' call lights to determine need
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff

Requirements

• An active CNA Certification, in good standing, issued by the state of Utah
• Effectively communicate on a personal level with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc.
• Able to make decisions independently when warranted
• Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures
• Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long term care
