Job summary

Parkdale Health and Rehab in Price, UT is seeking a compassionate CNA for part-time day shifts (6 AM–2 PM, 2 PM–10 PM, or 6 AM–6 PM). Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents in bed.
• Provide daily living assistance (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting).
• Review dietary restrictions and ensure appropriate meals.
• Record food and liquid intake as required.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

Hours

This is a part time position, and we are hiring for the Day Shift - either 6 AM to 2 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, or 6 AM to 6 PM.

***The shift hours depend upon your availability and the needs of the facility.

Wages and Benefits

• If you are not yet certified, Parkdale Health and Rehab will pay for your nursing assistant certification (valued at over $500)
• CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Requirements

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment

• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
