Select Specialty Hospital - Madison in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN/Per Diem, 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role offers $24.00 per hour and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

The hospital focuses on critical illness recovery and high‑quality inpatient care, with opportunities for advancement. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and hospital CNA experience; BLS is required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• MinimumQualifications: High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or related field experience (e.g. medical assistant, RN student).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing using basin-less products and provide oral hygiene and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist movers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; maintain stock levels as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
