Job summary

River Grove Health and Rehabilitation in Loudon, TN is seeking dedicated CNAs to join our day and night shifts. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and report changes to nursing staff in a compassionate team environment.

We offer a wage scale updated 10/11, a $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and a 401K. DailyPay and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program.
• Current state certification as a CNA required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' daily living needs (bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulation).
• Take and record vital signs and assist with safe lifting and transfers.
• Identify changes in residents and report to nursing staff promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with assigned duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
