Magnolia Creek is hiring CNAs to provide compassionate care for residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves assisting with bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulation, and mobility, while accurately recording vital signs and observing changes to report to nursing staff.

The ideal candidate has CNA certification, at least one year of related experience, and is committed to patient dignity and safety. The facility offers a supportive team environment and ongoing training.

Formación

• At least one year of CNA experience in Long Term Care setting preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• Experience in assisting residents with activities of daily living is required.

Responsabilidades

• Attend to residents' needs including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs, lifting and transporting residents with proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager; ask clarifying questions.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.

• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
