Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in New York is seeking a compassionate part-time CNA to deliver care in a warm, home-like environment. The CNA assists with ADLs, documents care, and provides emotional support to residents. Shifts include various Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays across multiple time blocks.

Must hold a valid CNA/HHA/PCA license. Prior SNF/ALC experience is preferred; dementia experience is desired. A strong benefits package accompanies the role for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/PCA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred but not required.
• Experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in health or behavior to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional care.

We are looking for a compassionate part time CNA to join our team! As a CNA, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Shifts available: Sunday and Monday 7a to 3p and 11p to 7a, Friday and Saturday: 7a to 3, 3p to 11p and 11p to 7a

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/PCA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
