Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Roseland, NJ, is seeking a compassionate Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver warm, resident-centered care in a home-like environment.

You will assist with activities of daily living, document care, and support residents with dementia, reporting changes to staff. This role requires a valid CNA/HHA/LNA license and offers a schedule of every other weekend 3p–11p along with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.
