Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife seeks a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care across our communities in Indiana. You will assist with daily activities, document care, and support nurses in providing high-quality service while maintaining residents’ independence and dignity.

Starting pay is $18.50/hour with additional $3.00 second shift and $3.00 third shift differentials; benefits include comprehensive medical, dental and retirement options, plus

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification and compliant with state regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to document accurately and communicate clearly.
• Experience with lift equipment and proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents needing daily assistance (bathing, eating, ambulating, hair care).
• Provide support services under nurse supervision.
• Promote resident independence and comfort in daily living.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
